The Newport Fire Department and West Canada Valley American Legion Post #1524 are hosting their eleventh annual Patriot Day / 9-11 Remembrance Ceremony to be held at the Newport Fire House, 7370 Main Street. The event will include participation by the Middleville, Newport, and Poland Fire Departments, local ambulance corps, Adirondack American Legion Post # 1118, VFW Posts 1552 and 7220, law enforcement, active military, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and local students. Refreshments will be served.
