Lock 17 Park: Kids Fishing Derby. Prizes awarded. Burke Park: Freedom Run, Sheriff Farber Youth Run, Iron Man Classic Bench Press competition, Fun in the Park from 5-9 with games, food and live entertainment.Downtown: Side walk sales, Model Car Show, Museum Tours. Eastern Park: Country Craft Fair, Displays,Family Fun Rides, Food Court and Live entertainment. The 2nd Annual Standing Strong: River Through Time

From 11:00AM to 6:00PM

The 2nd Annual Standing Strong: River Through Time will take place in Haslett Park (at the intersection of Main and Willett Streets) in Fort Plain. The schedule of live music is: 12-1pm Rumpus (Rock) 1-3pm; Cleen Street (Rock & Blues) 3-4pm; Shawn Marosek (Folk & Acoustic Rock) 4-6pm; The Emeralds of July (Contemporary Pop & Rock). In addition, there will be Sporting Goods Raffles with over $1000 in prizes including a Kayak, Mountain Bike, etc. Chicken BBQ, Hotdogs & French fries, Ice Cream Social. Activities for kids including a Dunking Booth and more!

Gloversville Little Huskies 3rd Annual Fun Day

From 11:00AM to 5:00PM

Fun Day is open to all communities! There will be competition events for children ages 5-12. Events include 30/40 yard dash, passing, punting, and an obstacle course. We will also have games, bounce houses, vendors, face painting, raffles, 50/50, tug-of-war, food and MORE! Admission: $5.00 for children competing $2.00 for all adults and children not competing.

3rd Annual Town of Ohio Field Days

Come join us for the Town of Ohio Field Days featuring a GARDEN TRACTOR AND ATV/UTV PULL with the Weigh in beginning at 9:30 am, Pulls begin at 10:30am. The cost is $10 a hook. Also going on all day long: the Co-Ed Softball tournament, and a HUGE Parade on Nellis Road and Music by Mark Mowers and a kids carnival, crafts and fireworks!

Walter Elwood Museum 75th Anniversary Annual Fest

The Walter Elwood Annual Museum Festival at the new site at 100 Church Street in Amsterdam on route 67. Crafters, vendors, artists, children's games, face painting, kids crafts, food, car show by New Wave Cruisers Club. Call for vendor or car registration form or more info. Family Fun for all ages! Museum open for tours and authors on site for local lore book signing and more. Live music and DJ too!
