Come on out for the Coffee Shops 2nd annual Ice Fishing Contests on East and West Caroga Lakes. The entry fee is $20 on the day of the contest. There will be 4 categories and prizes will be awarded at the Outlet Restaurant on State Highway 10. There will also be a drawing to win a power ice auger and a 50/50 raffle.

Fire & Iron Station 82, a non profit Motorcycle Club made up of Firemen and Emergency personnel, are hosting a benefit spaghetti dinner for a local Ilion family whose daughter was born last July with Dandy Walker syndrome. Her name is Elizabeth Latendress and she is 4 months old. Her family has to travel to Rochester to see a specialist for her. We will be hosting a donation dinner at the Marine Corps League at 178 2nd Street in Ilion.
