“Adopt-A-Palooza” presented by Angels of Fur is at Clinton Arena on Kirkland Ave. There will be a number of animals up for adoption along with basket raffles, givaways, demonstrations and more. The cost is $2 a person or $5 per family.

From 11:00AM to 4:00PM

The Palatine Settlement Society’s Annual Rhubarb Festival is at the historic 1747Nellis Tavern on Route 5, St. Johnsville. All kinds of rhubarb delicacies will be available plus there willbe music and a rhubarb pie contest at noon. The event is free with donations gladly accepted.

From 1:00PM to 5:00PM

There will be a benefit for the Frank Peck family at the Rome Elks Lodge, 126 West Liberty Street in Rome. Frank was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and is putting up a great fight. The proceeds will be used to help the family through this difficult time. Tickets are $15 or two for $25 and available by calling 315-292-32-86.

From 2:00PM to 6:00PM

There will be a benefit for Kathy Berge at the Clinton VFW on Franklin Ave. There will be food, music, a Chinese auction and much, much more. The cost is $20 with kids under 12 free, Proceeds will help offset Kathy’s medical expenses as she battles a rare form of cancer.
