The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is hosting International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, at East Schuyler United Methodist Church, 150 Church Street in Frankfort. This free event includes small group discussions that bring together people who have experienced a similar loss. Lunch will be provided.
Lilah’s Thanksgiving Pie & Bake Sale at Tractor Supply in Herkimer. There will be pies, sweet breads and crafts available. All proceeds will help to pay vet bills and buy supplies for the many furbabies who depend on Lilah's Foster House.
There will be a benefit for John “Spencer” Klein at the Silverado, Marginal Road in Herkimer. “Spencer” suffered a stroke recently and needs help with mounting medical bills. Music starting at 4 along with a 50/50 raffle, Chinese auction and plenty of food. A $10 donation will be taken at the door.
The South Minden Fire Department, Route 163 in Fort Plain, is having a dance with the Spike Brown Band. There will be a $5 cover, open to the public, and BYOB! Come out to support your local volunteer fire department.
