Standard Insulating, 94-88 River Road, Marcy, is holding a can and bottle drive to raise money for the American Heart Association’s “Greatest Heart Run and Walk” taking place on March 4th. You can drop off your bottles and cans during their regular business hours Monday through Friday.

From 6:00PM to 9:00PM

Herkimer County is offering the six-hour Defensive Driving Course to Herkimer County residents and non-residents. The course is Monday, February 27 and Tuesday, February 28, from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Students need to attend both nights. It will be held at the 911 Building, 71 Reservoir Road, near the Herkimer College Campus. Enrollment is on a first come basis. Payment is $35.00 and includes all books and materials. You will be enrolled when payment is received. Upon completion of the classroom training, participants are eligible for a reduction in New York State Points and Insurance. To enroll or for further information, please call 315-867-1130.
