ANGELS & BUNNIES Helping DOGGIES!!! April marks the 1st anniversary of "With An Angel's Help" by Donna Ray for Lainey's Army, AND Upstate NY Animal Rescue Group!! To celebrate, the Easter Bunny will kick off a doggie donation drop at Once Upon A Child, 8411 Seneca Turnpike, New Hartford. Not only can you bring your camera in for free pics w/the Easter bunny; bring in a doggie donation and get a free chance at winning a cute and furry stuffed bunny!! Other drop off locations include: Function Better/Studio 55, 5094 Commercial Drive, Yorkville, (donate & get a free doggie bag of gifts) Karate USA- 2150 Oriskany St. West, Utica (Donate & get a free class ages 3 & up) 315-723-7584. The list of needed items include: Pig Ears, Purina Pro plan or One (food), soft squishy/squeaky toys, soft small dog treats, Clorox Bleach, and Tide or Arm & Hammer Laundry Soap. The VFW on Mohawk Street in Herkimer is holding their annual Garage Sale and Chinese Auction, They’re requesting a dollar donation at the door or a non-perishable food item for the Feed Our Vets Program.

The Sharon Springs Rescue Squad will be hosting a Craft Fair/Easter Egg Hunt. The event is free to the public. The Rescue Squad will also be selling breakfast and lunch. The Egg Hunt will begin at Noon. There will also be a Chinese auction. Bring the kids and have a family picture with the Easter Bunny! Crafters/Vendors Needed!

Come meet the Easter Bunny at the Mohawk Antiques Mall 100 East Main, Mohawk. Take a photo of him with your kids for a $10 donation, all proceeds going to the 4 Pet Sake food pantry.
