The Lazy Eight Radio Control Club will host annual charity air show at club field located at 144 Knoblauch Rd. in the Town of Johnstown (Behind Rogers Family Orchard) to raise proceeds for the "Warm The Children" program. Follow signs on N.Y. State Route 29 west of Johnstown. Donation of $3.00 per person with children under 12 free. All gate proceeds will benefit "Warm the Children" which provides new warm winter clothing for children of needy local children.

The 5th annual Amrhein Open Golf Tournament is at Shamrock Golf Course in Oriskany. All proceeds benefit Rescue Me Purebred K9 Rescue. Entry includes 18 holes with cart, lunch, steak dinner, skins, plus raffles and door prizes. To sign up, call Andrea at 315-525-8913.

Little Azalea is from Johnstown and fighting for her life. There’s a benefit for Azalea at Ciro’s Restaurant in Lake Luzerne, starting at 11am. Food, horseback riding, music, bounce house, chinese auction, raffles, face painting and more! They’re also looking for raffle baskets and donations. Wanderers’ Rest Humane Association will host our Second Annual “Raisin’ The Barn Woof ” Country Barn Event at Jesse’s Place, 7250 Shanley Road in Deansboro. Look for orange route signs. It will be held in an elegant western style country barn. Tickets are $50.00 per person and will be available in advance by phone, e-mail or online. Your ticket covers cost of admission, 1 raffle ticket, BBQ buffet by the “Nina’s Kitchen”, open bar from 6 to 8 PM provided by Tony’s Pizzeria and Sports Bar of Washington Mills, with cash bar from 8 to 10 PM, and a few more surprises.
