From 1:00PM to 4:00PM

The First Presbyterian Church of Ilion is hosting a Chicken Riggie Challenge. It's open to the public. Funds raised will be put towards the purchase and installation of a vertical platform lift to improve handicapped accessibility in the church. The installation of the lift is part of the renovation of the church's basement area that was destroyed by the June, 2013 flood. Everyone is invited to sample and choose their favorite riggie-makers in several categories. Admission to the event is $12 for adults, $7 for children 6-12, and children under 5 are free. There will be free activities for children ages 7 and under. A guitar donated by Big Apple Music will be raffled off and there will be a 50/50 raffle. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the Challenge or by calling the church at 315-894-2070. MC and performer for the day will be Mark Bolos. The following restaurants will be vying for honors: Dominick’s, Cucina Berto, Primo’s, Lombardo’s, Franco’s, Kevin’s Bistro, and Bella Regina.
