The Fulton Montgomery Farmer’s Market Association and The Fulton County Center For Regional Growth are kicking off the 2018 market season together at the Elm Street Pavilion in Gloversville, NY. There will be kid’s activities, free sapling giveaways, local produce, plants, meats, baked goods, and more. Running every Saturday from May 5th through Mid-October, the Gloversville Farmer’s Market is a “100% producer” market; meaning everything is locally grown, raised, and prepared by the vendors themselves. The Lewis-Oneida District Order of the Eastern Star is having a Chinese Auction fundraiser at the Oriskany Masonic Lodge corner of Valley Road and Utica Street. Tickets go on sale at noon with drawings beginning at 4. There will also be raffles and a bake sale.

Come one, come all and bring your gambling know-how! We are turning the post into a casino for the night and all proceeds will benefit the Clonan Baseball team! Doors open at 6pm and gaming starts at 8. Tickets are $50, which includes $250 of gaming chips when you present your ticket at the door. Food & soda/coffee/water - cash bar for beer/liquor. We will also have Cinco de Mayo specialty drinks for all your festive beverage pleasures! No money will be involved when gambling. Your winnings and chips at the end of the night will be exchanged into raffle tickets to be entered into the Chinese auctions! If you're not a gambler, you can exchange all of your chips into raffle tickets to maximize your chances in winning a basket!
