The 39th annual Friendship Craft Festival, sponsored by the Church of Christ Uniting in Richfield Springs, will have over 50 of the area’s finest crafters, the church’s famous bake sale, food booth by Richfield Youth Sports. Enjoy hot dogs, hamburgers, hot sausage and other goodies, plus Brooks chicken barbecue! Shop for special gifts and unique finds. Held in Spring Park, Route 20 in Richfield Springs.

Gregory Mignot is a 10 year old 4th grader at Staley in Rome. He has been diagnosed with bone cancer and will receive about 9 months of chemo in Syracuse. Missy Blask, a lifelong Little Falls resident, is battling colon cancer. She has taken a leave of absence from her job at Little Falls Hospital due to the progression of her illness. Missy has always been willing to lend a helping hand, so please show your support at this difficult time! There’s a fundraiser for Missy at the Little Falls Elks Lodge. A benefit for Samantha Wood, who is battling leukemia, will be held at the Mohawk American Legion, 43 West Street. There will be food, a Chinese auction and 50/50. Tickets are $10 with under 5 free.
