Town-Wide Garage Sales

From 9:00AM to 3:00PM

The Oppenheim Historical Society is sponsoring town-wide garage sales. It’s on Route 29 between Dolgeville and Johnstown. There’s food, raffles and maps available at the Town barn, and the Oppenheim Volunteer Fire Company is having a chicken barbecue.

Book Sale

The Herkimer County Historical Society is holding a "Book Sale" during Herkimer's "Diamond Days."  There will be a wide selection of books & postcards, sales in the Gift Shop, and guided tours of their museum building. Marcy/Deerfield Family Fair, Saturday, August 4th

Come join us. Free Entry!! Face painting, over 20 vendors, games, contests, & raffles. Can Jam Tournament with $10 entry fee. We will also have an adoptable puppy kissing booth. Proceeds to help Pop Warner Cheerleaders and local animal rescue.

Terry Warn Benefit

Family & friends are hosting a benefit for Terry Warn, recently diagnosed with lung cancer. The event is at the Little Falls Elks Club. They’ll have a Chinese auction, 50/50 raffle, and wheelbarrow of cheer. More info. on Facebook

River Through Time

Come for an afternoon of live music, food, and fun in Fort Plain. MUSIC: We will have musicians K.O. Grainger, Caitlin Bingham, and Tom Staudle performing out of the Haslett Park Gazebo. Music will run from approximately noon-5pm. FOOD: We are doing a traditional Americana cookout this year, so we'll have some home-cooked burgers, hot dogs, macaroni and potato salad, cold drinks, cookies, and ice cream sundaes. FUN: We will have activities for the kids, including a bounce house, face painting, frisbees, and other games. RAFFLE: Raffle tickets for a Deluxe Grill Package, gift basket from EmPower Federal Credit Union, a lottery ticket tree, and other prizes will be available for purchase. If you'd like to pick up some tickets prior to the event, please visit The Sportsman's Den in Fort Plain or Peruzzi's Meat Market in Canajoharie.
