Slocum-Dickson Medical Group’s Endocrinology department will hold a free Diabetes Screening Day in the main lobby of the New Hartford location at 1729 Burrstone Road. This single test provides an average of a person’s blood sugar level over six to twelve weeks. A blood sample for the test is obtained through a finger prick, and results will be available within approximately six minutes.
